At a Würstelstand in Austria — especially in Vienna — a very particular language is spoken in front of a mixed crowd. Beyond Viennese dialect and charming slang, there are terms that, without explanation, often follow no logic at all. They have settled in over the years and should be used with care. Our editors have tried to cover a few of them in this glossary - also in english - you can judge yourself if those terms make sense :-)
